I have started a knife sharpening business and the AMK-75 is my go to machine. It checks all the boxes for what is needed in a professional machine. Angles are easily adjusted, variable speed, and quick change of belts. On most knives I use two abrasive belts and a felt polishing belt with polishing compound. The consistency of the edge and finish are fantastic. Many customers tell me their knives are sharper than when they were new.

This is an outstanding knife sharpener. Can't be beat!!!

I have had my unit for about a year now. I lost count of the knives I have sharpened with the system. Most of them were mine! When a sharpen a knife for one of my friends, I always hear, "That's too sharp, I'll cut myself". I always tell them to be careful and that a sharp knife is much more safe than a dull one. This is where I get my belts "http://www.leevalley.com/us/wood/page.aspx?p=66268&cat=1,43072,75712". I use all of them from the 80micron down to the 6micron, after which I use a leather belt with the green bar. Love my sharpener very much. No one will go wrong with this system if they want to always have the sharpest knife in the room!!!
