The AMK-73 2 X 72 Belt Grinder includes a 1.5hp motor, and all aluminum parts (except wheels) are blue powder coated. Ideal for knife making and general fabrication. This grinder competes with the many machines on the market that cost much, much more. Other systems with these same features are start at $2,500 or more.

This machine was designed and built by an engineer / tool & die maker with over 40+ years of experience in automation, robotics and precision fixture design. AMK, LLC only designs, builds, and sells top quality equipment and products. AMK, LLC has a history of engineering, design, and fabrication of specialty fixtures, automated work cells and production lines.

Standard Features:

1. Uses standard 2" x 72" grinding belts !!

2. Oh, and did I mention that you get the motor as well? Yep, a 1.5hp, 1800 single speed, 110vac motor is included.
3. Comes with 4" rubber fixed wheel, 3/4" and 2" replaceable small wheels, All wheels have precision bearings.
4. Grinder is made from steel and heavy duty aircraft grade aluminum, so it will last for years.
5. All steel details are black oxided or powder coated for rust protection.
6. Pre-wired ON/OFF switch and motor. Operates on a standard 15-20 amp circuit.
7. Tilt adjustable work tables. Will tilt approximately 30 degrees.
8. Tabletop mountable.
9. Gas strut tension arm. NO SPRINGS here. Springs are not reliable for constant pressure.

10. Some minor assembly required. It will take about 5 minutes to setup and mount the worktable.

One Year Warranty

DO NOT use system with GFI Circuit, Power Strips or Extension Cords.

Please Note: All machines receive an 8 hour bench run for testing. In the process of this bench test there could be some scratches on the wheels and platen. But please be assured that you are receiving a new machine.
